Answer 4!
A lot of people die in Act 5, scene 2. These include Gertrude, Claudius, Laertes, and Hamlet himself. Gertrude dies because of a selfless act to save her son. This was the first time she disobeys Claudius in the whole play. Claudius dies because Hamlet forces him to drink the poisoned potion. Hamlet dies because Laertes cuts him with the poisoned fencing sword. And Laertes dies because Hamlet does not let him get away without getting cut himself. This all leads to the theme of revenge. Every one of these characters was sneaky at some point in the play and eventually got themselves killed. Was this an accident? Not at all.
